Currently, all the spotlight are centered at a certain rugby player in 09S62, who had specifically seek out the reporter hoping that the reporter can give others more chance at the limelight.

S62 Channel proudly presents, "Hwa Chong most funny Personalities"!
This week's featured male idol: Chen "Edison" Shijia, otherwise known as Handsome, Rugby Champion, or Singapore Idol. Was specially revealed to have roughly 17 brothers.
An extremely charismatic person, he has the coolest mane. It is rumoured that he spent at least 1/2 hr tidying up his hair.
Just be dazzled by his sharp eyes, and the perfect way he consumed his breakfast early in the morning.
However, every handsome guy needs sleep to prolong his handsomeness, and Chen is no exception.
Especially during lessons.
This week's featured female idol: Qian Qian, Actress of the Year, 09S62 Princess, with a result slip that is an envy of all students.
Every lets smile like our princess =)
But sometimes, the princess has to find some moment to unstress herself from her 'princess' pose.
It seems that Jianler was unwillingly attracted over.
Just like our featured Chen, sleeping seems to be the favourite activity for most princes and princesses.

TOday, let us investigate on this intruiging word: Sleep.
Sleep (Se-Li-Ip), as defined in Dictionary.com, refers to the process when a person take the rest afforded by a suspension of voluntary bodily functions and the natural suspension, complete or partial, of consciousness, ceasing being awake.
Strangely, this bizarre and astonishing activity, as it seems, is carried out as often as pigs fly, in a certain class in a certain chinese junior college located on top of Bukit Timah, Singapore. Now, let us follow the photos that our daring reporter has painstakingly retrieved about the enigmatic phenomenon.
Now as it seems, anyone who indulge in this activity ceases to expose his or her facial expressions.
But of course, there are always exceptions.
And, as believed, it can be carried out in almost every position.
And this activity are widely practised together in a cult,
But lastly, the reporter, braving through the storms of "zzz" and "snores~", managed to capture this never-seen-before scene, of the ultimate sleeping machine, who, as shown, is enjoying one of his lesson naps.

Once again, our class hero aka Edison Chen Shijia, had absent himself from school today, which, of course, to him, is definitely alright. No doubt, we all know that he has employed top university lecturers to give him private lessons at home. Thus it is highly possible that he may have studied so hard that he contacted the "mug-ithis", a common but normally fatal disease that inflicts on many junior college students aiming for straight As in the 'A' levels. Thus, we should start saving Shijia from his mugging streak, and help him to shake off the 'mug-ithis', and to allow him to lead a normal student's life by encouraging him to play more games instead of mugging hardworkingly at home.
Shijia, get well soon. We all hope for the best of your health.

Ok S62, there is now a very urgent and real need for the shijia fund.
Why,u might ask?
During physics lecture today u all experienced for yourselves how necessary the shijia fund is. The sudden loud rumbling noises halfway. Think it was some thunder?
Think again. It was actually shijia's empty stomach growling. Luckily he was sleeping to conserve energy, if not the sounds would be continuous and spontaneous.
Thus in order to prevent such future distractions, please kindly donate to the shijia fund so that shijia will be fed at all times, or at least most of the time.
If not, please prepare for the worst.

Here to promote the new HCunite Forum!
Basically it's a forum for HC students to discuss about anything related to school: school events, faculties, CCAs, students' suggestions and other random interesting discussions (no really they really are interesting and even entertaining sometimes). And since there's a section dedicated to students' suggestions there I suggest you guys make full use of it since you guys do have ideas on stuff to suggest yes? :D It's pretty informal so yep I'd say it's a fine channel to express your opinions on school-related stuff.

SHIJIA FUND:
This fund is dedicated to providing shijia with food under any circumstance whereby he has insufficient food to fill his stomach(which is most of the time). Since this fund depletes at extraordinary speeds, there is pressing need to top up this fund thrice a day. All responsible members of the S62 family should set aside a reasonable portion of their pocket money and pledge them to the shijia fund. Anyone that fails to comply with this bill issued by the S62 constitution will be dealt with accordingly. With that, the S62 constitution means exiling that rogue member to the cold ends of HCJC, condemned to the harshness of apollo, ares and artemis, never to return to athena ever again. Have a heart guys. If possible, try and have two. Think of how you can put that $2.20 to better use the next time you buy banana peach. Think of the shijia fund. In shijia we trust.

Hello 62! Borrowing Melissa’s account to blog.
Anyway, I just revamped (once again) the class fund system, so I’m here to inform you guys about it :)
Okay so basically, the class fund is split into 4 parts – the Geog fund, the Rest of The Class fund, the Shijia fund, and the Combined fund.
The Geog fund consists of all the geog-gers, excluding Shijia. We pay for our PGME subjects. Each person will have $9.3625, after I’ve finished collecting the $10 from everyone ($0.60 each for the new Econs notes, plus leftover money from last time, minus $2 to Shijia. We need to reimburse him for Econs notes which I counted him in for before, with the old system. I agar-agar give him $2, there’s probably a discrepancy of some cents, but hopefully, he doesn’t mind…?)
The Rest of The Class fund is the fund from the rest of the class, excluding Shijia. Which means it’s the Chemistry people, and the 3 with odd subject combinations. Swee Kiat takes care of the Chem notes; (I assume) Melissa, Yehan and Li Wen take care of their own German, AEP and H1 Geog stuff. So, all these people use the class fund only to pay for PME notes. Each person currently has $10.35.
The Shijia fund is Shijia’s fund, because no one else is paying for the same subjects as him, which is PGM (since he takes H1 Econs). He has $10.
The Combined fund is everyone’s money! Leftover from the original class fund, when I didn’t split it. It’s mostly for convenience now, when the class shares a small sum and it’s too troublesome to take from the individual funds. We’re left with $2.30.
And this is how the class fund works: when we have Geog notes to pay for, I’ll take only from the Geog and Shijia fund; when we have Econs notes to pay for, I’ll take only from the Geog and ROTC funds; when we have Physics and Math notes, take from all funds (except combined fund).
Sounds good? Do you all think it’s better to pay for notes from the class fund? Hopefully, it’s easier on the reps, ‘cause now they don’t have to collect from everyone, and they get notes instead of coins when I reimburse them :) Is it working out so far?
If you’re confused by all of this, not to worry! The main point is: WE’RE GOING TO HAVE A VERY EFFICIENT CLASS FUND! :D And your money is in SAFE HANDS!
Yup, just thought I should tell you guys what I’m doing with your money. Not that you can’t trust me (you can!!), but yeah… It’s only right that you all know, I guess? :D Thank you!
