Ok, not so much as an episode. It has been so long since we last met at dunno how long ago gathering, before we met up again in school for the ol' mighty A level results. Right, i shouldnt brood into that depressing topic anymore (at least for me that is),

but here's wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. I know it may mean real farewell to some of you guys (*coughgaoyingcough*) and no matter, its still hard to keep in real contact ten, twenty years down the road. HELLO!! I just saw a lot of the Chinese New Year celebrations pictures on Facebook :D So exciting okok here are our financials! :D

Expenditures:

29.00 (tang yuan + bing tang + pandan leaves) + 13.10 (bowls) = $42.10

Revenue:

We sold 112 ballzzzz of tang yuan! 112 x 0.50 = $56.00

PROFIT = REVENUE - EXPENDITURE (my Econs damn zai k) = 56.00 - 42.10 = $13.90!

I know it's not much (compared to what we spend...) but still. :D!

But more importantly, we had lots of fun and it was a great class effort :D

(SG) Once again, Singapore witnesses an amazing rising talent in the tiny red dot, which is expected to become a world sensation in near future.

Once a young innocent little boy in the class-of-extremely-talented-individuals, in short S62, Mr Tan Kuan Loong had, by chance, displayed his newfound talent: Devastating Poker Card Toss.

Never heard of it? Never witnessed it? Never fear. S62 Channel is always there (well, here) to bring you the latest exciting updates near the bench-with-the-comfy-pillar.

Multiple eye witnesses had seen Mr Tan, who, easily, tossed the flimsy wobbly poker card into the air, and seemingly directed it straight into the heart of the poor old tree (see above images).

Familiar? Research had shown that another superhero, Gambit, had displayed skills of similar devastation.

However, it is to believed that Mr Tan has shown promising talent in this peculiar art, and may even soon surpass the world renowned Marvel Superhero, assuming he existed.

More updates will be aired once we gather more news of Singapore's rising talents.

Ever since the creation of the world, God creates Man. BUT, God creates woman to be the counterpart of man. For? Obviously, guys are for girls. Boys and girls are evident in many cultures, and yet it seems that B-B has been a trending topic recently. What evidence are there to prove this observation? Anyway, quoted from SMB:

1. Lecture: The first Physics lecture will be on the first day of school, and we will start with Superposition. The Physics rep is responsible for BUYING the notes for your class before the lecture at 1pm. There is no change to the seating arrangement in the LTs; we will still be using LT 2 and 3.

2. Happy Package: E, S and U students are expected to submit the relevent exercises to your physics tutor by the first week. The rest of the students are strongly encouraged to try them as there will be a TEST in the second wk.

3. Consolidation Test: The consolidation test will be in the second week and the topics tested are circular motion, gravitation, first law of thermodynamics, oscillations and waves. The duration of the test is 50 min and will comprise mcqs and short structured questions.

4. Tutorial and practical: These will be used for revision for the Consolidation test in the first week. Practical starts in the second week.

Well at least do try to squeeze out some time to prepare? In advance, have a great 2010!

On the extreme hand of the classroom, another hardworking group, known as Graffiti, is also not lacking behind, trying to do something on the computer from where the reporter cannot see.

Beside them, ~~boss~~ valerie decided to engage in a very fun activity called "solo-ing", and is doing some ppt. Alright, she should be watching dunno what anime now. But obviously no one can guess what the boss is thinking. Her trusty sidekicks, JM and JL, stand guard beside her, wary of intruders. And there is (jing)2, eating her cai fan. Well, im not hungry though i can smell it. Coz im already full.

Looks like a budding relationship can be observed, as liwen and qianqian smiled at each other and talking very happily. (this is purely the reporter's observations, and will not care whether it spoils anyone's reputation) And they lean closer. Then she looks behind. He looks bored. He turns around

Using an amazing macbook, yuxuan n gang is working some amazing ppt which the reporter went dumbfounded. And they are listening to some songs which the reporter cannot hear, coz SNSD is here to stay!

Of course, not to mention shennan, the imba guy sitting beside me. ~~hardworkingly mugging~~ playing Fifa(?) on his comp. And its a goal! I saw gerrard, nani, and some other unrecognizable names.

Big Bang’s Seungri is going to school with SNSD’s Yuri

Big Bang's Seungri and SNSD's Yuri have both been accepted by Chung-Ang University and will start attending classes in 2010 as freshmen.

According to Chung-Ang University on the 29th, the two of them had beat out some tough competition to make it into the school. To be exact, a ratio of 23 to 1. Both of them will be majoring in theatre and acting.

Seungri had previously withdrawn from high school due to his activities with Big Bang, however last May, Seungri passed with a GED, better known as the 'Good Enough Diploma'. Yuri had also given up on her college education after high school in 2007. Both of them however had a change of heart after realizing that school is cool!

There have been several intermittent problems such as censorship issues and copyright, resulting in many episodes of S62 channel either being cancelled or postponed. But fear not, for S62 channel is back for more joy laughter and tears!

Today, we bring to you a BOOMZ news.

"Who cares about the Loch Ness Monster? There is the Hwa Chong legosaurus!"

Several disturbances have been detected near the coast of S62 bench, and villagers have been reporting sightings of a strange silhouette along the horizon. Recently, this footage has been recovered from the beach, apparently from an unfortunate villager who had been attacked by the unknown creature.

After this video is released to the villagers, more sightings have been reported, and photos have popped up, giving us a clearer picture of this unique yet deadly creature, coined as the Legosaurus, found in S62 Bench, Hwa Chong. The scientific name for this creature, as termed by puzzled scientist, is saurisaurigeegeegeedidadikamikazoomdus.

Not sure how many of you are intending to attend SCREAM, but if you are considering/intending to go for it, here are the details:

Ticket Price: $8 (Trail), $4 (Maze)
Ticket Sales: 19th to 23rd October, 3.30 to 5.30 pm @ Council Benches

Students signing up for trail will have to
* Form their own groups of 4-5 or pairs before purchasing tickets
* Individual ticket purchases are not allowed
* Payment must be made upon purchase

Maze tickets will be sold on the spot on SCREAM day itself.

SCREAM is a haunted trail event organised by the Council and proceeds will be directed to charitable causes. The difference between Trail and Maze is that for Trail, you will go through various stations around the school whereas for Maze, everything takes place within one room (albeit a huge one).

Essay? This is the first time i see the class so relaxed while writing econs essay. Got time to think, got time to stretch, got time to glance around. Alright. i shall cut this report short, since my econs is so bad, even mugging will not save me. Melissa, please continue this report =)

For this week's special programme, we are honored to have with us the S62 Mugging Club to be sharing with us exclusive reports on each and single promotional exam papers! How exciting!

Part 1: General Paper

Hi people, im sure all of you would have loved this year's promos' essay questions. Not a single question on arts or ethical issues, you guys must be so glad, considering that so ~~many~~ little people around the school has been banking at ethical issues. For those hardworking ones, the new media one would have been an obvious choice, and thats what Ms Kim said today when i saw her on the streets. ZOMG. Damn scary. Ok out of point. There are questions on environment too, if you had prepared enough. One big relief for geography students would have been the question of immigrants, which we can answer them with human geography context. Well, the other non-content questions seem easy too, like the science-fiction question. All and all, it should be decent enough.

Paper 2? Fun Bun Bun. 3 1mark questions with UYOW, what a good usage of time for paraphrasing. Summary, i surmise, is rather tricky? Yep, my opinion is that its quite hard to summarise. AQ is DA BOMB. Right? Singapore context, media, unless you had prepared for new media, it came as a rather rude shock for me too. Yep, news have been spreading around some classes before GP exam that the compre gonna be hard. Not sure how many of you felt so, but its a nice experience yea?

Tomorrow is economics. If you happen to be reading this on 5th October, please go back to your notes and mug. If you feel like dying, go play facebook games to relax. It will help. Go play Pet Society. Anyway, read through all your notes and place them under your pillow. It will help. It will be even more effective if you are happening to be listening to SNSD songs. Alright, cut the crap. Go through definitions, memorise some figures, understand some case studies, and good luck for tomorrow's econs paper.

Squirrels on the RUN: Squirrels, apparently not satisfied with life as cute little rodents nibbling on nuts and fruits, are attempting to take over the world by -- acting cute.

As seen from the above photo, this over-ambitious squirrel has managed to hijack the photo of this innocent American couple at Canada.

"A once in a lifetime moment! We were laughing about this little guy for days!!", as quoted by the couple. However, they do not know the conspiracy theory behind this seemingly pure and innocent gesture by this un-named squirrel. By having increasing publicity, it had managed to become world famous among man's world, similar to their rodent cousins the Chipmunks:

Jealous of their successful story, this squirrel decided to aim for stardom by peeking into the photo, which became and instant hit on the Internet, with comments like "cute!", "wow!", "cooked squirrels!".

But, the danger lurking behind is largely unknown to the general population.

Squirrels, otherwise known as Sciurus or Tamiasciurus, are extremely cute. But their ambition to conquer the Earth is overlooked due to their extreme cuteness. By being too cute, they may one day over-cute cute humans like Yuri from SNSD, or Edison Chen Shi Jia. It is indeed something to be worrying about.

-when u dont feel like studying,as in really dont feel like,dont bother.u wont rmb anything after studying anyway.(i use the word "study" cos i dont mug.lol.unlike val =PP)
-try to study under stress-free conditions.make urself relaxed.if u're stressed, u wont rmb much either.eg.listen to music or take a break regularly.works for me la.for me i read one part then go play com or do other stuff.u can try o.O
-mugging doesnt necessarily mean u'll get good results.the emphasis is on productive studying, not just continuous mugging.
-lastly,if u need help, dont be afraid to ask people.

anyway physics spa is over.if u didnt do well or u screwed up, get over it.there's nothing u can do by moping over it anyway.might as well concentrate on more impt stuff =)

got a proposal here. remb the very gay thai dance version of "Nobody"? Yep, we have a great idea. We should practise that dance! What for, you may ask. Well, we can prepare that performance for any school events that we can participate, like the Teachers' Day concert, Fac events or anything. That will be a booming success!
